A little girl called Sally moves into a dilapidated old house with her parents. Sally doesn’t like the house much. It’s what her Dad calls a ‘fixer-upperer’ – the roof leaks, the floorboards creak, the timbers groan and the walls moan.
But when Sally finds an old oujia board in the attic, she accidentally summons a creature called the Screecher.
The Screecher is annoyed at all the repairs, renovations and refurbishment going. It much prefers the house to stay exactly the way it is. Hence, it’s left up to Sally to educate her new friend in the wonders of interior decoration.
